Tektite (erroneously called Tektike in Abobo's Big Adventure) is an enemy who appears in the Zeldabobo level. They hail from The Legend of Zelda.
Origin[]
Tektites are one eyed, spider-like creatures with four legs who originally appeared in The Legend of Zelda for the NES. They're either red or blue, and are overworld enemies that often appear in small groups. They will jump or leap around on the landscape of Death Mountain in Hyrule. Link can defeat them in one or two sword attacks.
In The Game[]
Tektites appear in a few rooms of the Zeldabobo dungeon, acting like their original counterparts by jumping or leaping around. Abobo can defeat them in only one hit with either his sword or beef. He can take damage if he touches one of them. They will sometimes drop hearts upon defeat to heal Abobo and will be spawned by the Old Man (using a magical book) during his boss battle.
