Shy Guy is an enemy who appears in the Zeldabobo level. They hail from Super Mario Bros. 2.
Origin[]
Shy Guys are humanoid creatures with masked faces who originally appeared in the NES game, Super Mario Bros. 2, although they did first appear in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic in Japan. They're usually red, and would walk off cliffs, but have pink variants that will walk and turn around to the other side, instead of falling off, in a similar manner to red shelled Koopa Troopas from Super Mario Bros.
In The Game[]
Red Shy Guys will walk and roam around in many rooms of the Zeldabobo dungeon. Abobo can defeat them in only one hit, but can take damage if he touches one of them. Like many other enemies in Zeldabobo, they can sometimes drop hearts upon defeat to heal Abobo, and will be spawned by the Old Man (using a magical book) during his boss battle.

- Shy Guys have a belt and blue shoes in their mugshot despite not having them in their sprite.
