Pac-Man is the titular protagonist of the famous arcade game with the same name, Pac-Man, which was ported to the NES.
In The Game[]
Pac-Man makes a cameo in Abobo's inventory in Zeldabobo, alongside the beef powerup (if Abobo collects it after defeating Manhandla), Jason (if Abobo doesn't get the beef powerup), Abobo's sword, a Ransomling's head, a Puffer, a ball from Metroid, a Virus (as a small face) and a pill from Dr. Mario, and a pickle from Ice Climber respectively.
Pac-Man later appears as one of the various NES characters that is vomited out of Kirby's mouth after he is defeated in Contrabobo.
