Origin
Pac-Man is the main protagonist and playable character of the game with the same name "Pac-Man" which was a famous arcade game that was ported to the NES.
In The Game
Pac-Man makes a cameo in game in Abobo's inventory in Zeldabobo, along with Jason, a sword, Ransomling's head, a Puffer, a ball from Metroid, a Virus and a pill from Dr. Mario, and a small green pickle from Ice Climber.
Pac-Man also makes a cameo as one of various NES characters spilt out by Kirby in a cutscene for Contrabobo.
