Mr. Informer (originally named Merchant) is a character who appears in Zeldabobo.
Origin[]
Mr. Informer is an NPC who originally appeared in The Legend of Zelda for the NES. He wears similar clothing to Link's green tunic and serves the role as a merchant who can sell items to him. They're found in either caves or undergrounds.
In The Game[]
Mr. Informer appears once inside of a dark room in the dungeon of Zeldabobo. He tells Abobo that the Old Man hates beef. If Abobo hits him once with his sword (or the beef if he later defeated Manhandla and got access to an underground side scrolling segment to obtain it), he'll be killed. He can also be hit once by any sword beams if Abobo has full health. If Abobo leaves his room or comes back in, some text above his corpse tells him to "rot in Hell." A medal called "Kill the Messenger" will also be earned by the player. His name is revealed on his in-game health bar.
