Mario is a minor character in Abobo's Big Adventure.

Origin

Mario originates from the 1981 arcade game, where he was known as "Jumpman", and he was the main protagonist, and he had to rescue Pauline from the original Donkey Kong who was later known as Cranky Kong, who is the grandfather of Donkey Kong in the Donkey Kong Country series.

Meanwhile, Mario would later become the main protagonist of the Super Mario Bros. games where he has a brother named Luigi, and he usually goes on journeys to recuse Princess Peach Toadstool, who is the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom who was kidnapped by the series main antagonist, Bowser.

Tanooki Mario originates from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Mario's referee design is taken from the 1987 NES game; Mike Tyson's Punch-Out.

In The Game

He first makes a cameo as Tanooki Mario at a Private Party in the level Double Drabobo.

Mario returns as a referee in the level Punchabobo, he is the announcer for all 3 rounds of Punch Out!!, if Abobo loses to Little Mac many times, Little Mac would get a KO.

If Abobo loses to Big Mac, the referee will open an acid pool so Abobo can fall in, and Big Mac would also punch Mario in the acid pool. Once Abobo kills Little Mac, and his falls on the ground with blood, Mario will run away.

After the final battle and Abobo's victory, Mario is last seen being killed by Aboboy, and he is strangling Mario with his own intestines in a cutscene.
