Abobo's Big Adventure Wiki

Mario is a character who appears in Abobo's Big Adventure.

Origin[]

Mario is a plumber with an Italian accent who was the main protagonist of the 1981 Donkey Kong arcade game, originally known as Jumpman. He had to rescue Pauline, his original girlfriend/love interest, from the original Donkey Kong, who would later be identified to be Cranky Kong, the grandfather of the original Donkey Kong in the Donkey Kong Country series.

Mario would later become the titular character and main protagonist of the Super Mario Bros. series. He has a brother named Luigi and often goes on journeys and adventures to rescue his love interest, Princess Peach, the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, who is often kidnapped by the series' main antagonist Bowser.

In the Game[]

Mario (as Tanooki Mario) can be seen at a Private Party in Double Drabobo with Luigi (as Raccoon Luigi), Peach, Toad, and three Private Party Girls. Only his backside is shown onscreen.

During Kirby's boss battle in Contrabobo, Stone Kirby can transform into a large statue of Tanooki Mario's stone transformation from Super Mario Bros. 3, which has Mario's eyes and moustache on it, that can crush Abobo and make him lose a life from it.

Mario appears again as a referee in Punchabobo, just like in Punch-Out!!. He is the announcer for all 3 rounds of the level, and will begin counting if Abobo falls down after losing to either Little Mac or his second form Big Mac many times. If Abobo doesn't get up, Mario will declare Little Mac as the winner by giving him a "KO." If Abobo loses to Little Mac or either Big Mac after three rounds, Mario will press a button and open an acid pool so Abobo can fall into. Little Mac would also punch Mario into it afterwards. Mario appears again when Little Mac comes over as Big Mac but turns back into his normal self after being defeated by Abobo. Mario himself gets puzzled and goes away. After Abobo kills Little Mac, by decapitating his head off of his body, Mario will run away.

Mario is last seen in a cutscene, after the final battle is over with, where Abobo's son, Aboboy, strangles him with his own intestines.
