Link is the main protagonist of the The Legend of Zelda series.
In The Game[]
Abobo's sprite and controls in Zeldabobo are based off Link's from the first Legend of Zelda game.
Link can be seen in a cutscene in Punchabobo, where he (along with Ryu Hayabusa, Nana, Eggplant Wizard, and Black Mage) watches Abobo and his son Aboboy get angry before starting to slaughter various NES characters.

- Link's design depicted in the Punchabobo cutscene is his appearance from the Legend of Zelda TV series that was produced by DIC Enterprises.
