The Football Players originally appeared in the NES game, Tecmo Bowl, which was made by the company, Tecmo.
In The Game[]
A single Football Player appears as one of the various NES characters that is vomited out of Kirby's mouth after he is defeated in Contrabobo.
Two teams of Football Players appear in a cutscene in Punchabobo, on a football field in Tecmo Bowl. One of them kicks a football to another player, who hits the severe head of Little Mac flying in the air, making one of the two teams earn a "Field Goal."
