Zeldabobo is the fourth level of Abobo's Big Adventure. Based on The Legend of Zelda for the NES, Zeldabobo plays as an action-adventure and top-down dungeon crawler respectively. The boss of the level is Old Man.

Gameplay[]

After Abobo falls into the manhole in Urban Chabobo, he appears in a labyrinth-like layout that is shaped as a certain phallic-shaped body part. Similar to Link, Abobo ventures through a dungeon inhabited by monsters, with puzzles to solve and items to collect. You will have to defeat the monsters with your sword, which will occasionally drop hearts to heal Abobo. There are some puzzles that will have to be solved such as pressing blocks to access things. One of the first collectable items present in the dungeon is a ladder that allows Abobo to walk on water. Other items that you will have to collect are a map, keys, a compass, a beef powerup, and a boss key (originally called the magical key).

Collecting the map gives a full view of the dungeon's map, keys can let Abobo open up locked doors, and the compass is used to locate the boss room with a red dot. The beef powerup can be collected in a side scrolling segment that will be unlocked after defeating the midboss Manhandla. A messenger will tell you that the Old Man hates meat. You can obtain beef as your new powerful weapon to fight against him, which will replace your sword. The boss key will unlock the door to that leads to the boss room, which is guarded by the midboss Aquamentus.

At the end, you fight the same Old Man who gave Link his sword, however, he will use a magical book to summon enemies you previously fought earlier, fight with a sword by forming into three clones of himself, and finally grow into a giant by drinking a growth potion. To make this easier, you must have full health to fire projectiles, either with sword beams or the beef in a line, similar to how Link must have full hearts. He will summon glowing yellow projectiles to transform Abobo into a snail by using a wand, fire lasers from a small ring, and fireballs from a candle. When, he grows larger, and becomes a giant, he gains invincibility frames during his attack start up, and causes rocks to fall down on flashing red and white X's.

The Rage Move for this level is known as "Super Slash."

Cutscene[]

After defeating the Old Man, Abobo enters a room and obtains the Triforce from Princess Zelda, but you know what? He eats it and the Princess will yell at him for eating it like its some sort of pie. Abobo will punch her and move onto the next stage where Abobo heads to the basement to find Aboboy tied up, only to backfire as he turns out to be a disguise by The Amazon, who flips the bird, telling him that he knows the about current whereabouts of Aboboy, and flies off on a jetpack. After that, Abobo spots a table to attach himself to a pair of unhappy yellow balloons by filling them with helium so he can fly off to the next level.
