Ryu Hayabusa

Ryu Hayabusa (simply named Ryu in his health bar) is a character and an enemy who appears in Abobo's Big Adventure.

Origin[]

Ryu Hayabusa is the main protagonist and playable character of the NES game, Ninja Gaiden, along with its two other squeals on the same console.

In The Game[]

Ryu Hayabusa makes his first appearance in a cutscene in Pro Wrabobo. He can be seen in between Simon Belmont and The Noid.

Ryu Hayabusa makes his second appearance as a regular enemy in the Waterfall section of Contrabobo. He is shown falling from the air and running back and fourth on a length. Ryu's only attacks in this level are throwing ninja blades at Abobo. The latter of which can attack and defeat him. Interestingly, Ryu's enemy sprite used in this level are his sprites from the second and third Ninja Gaiden games. Although, the sprites used for his ninja blades are still from the first Ninja Gaiden game.

Ryu Hayabusa makes his third and last appearance in a cutscene, along with Link, the Eggplant Wizard, Nana, and Black Mage when Abobo and his rescued son Aboboy get angry and start to slaughter various NES characters after the final battle with Little Mac is done.
