Lemmings are characters who serve as a game mechanic in Abobo's Big Adventure.
Origin[]
They're small anthropomorphized Lemmings from the 1991 NES puzzle-platformer game with the same name, Lemmings.
In The Game[]
In Contrabobo, the Lemmings can be fired out by Abobo when he collects the Lemming Powerup (replacing the Laser Rifle powerup). Once their fired out, they will roam around the map until they explode. Abobo can attack enemies and bosses with the Lemmings. A medal called "Lemming Lunacy" can even be earned. The Lemming Powerup appears only once in the Jungle section, but does appear again in Kirby's boss battle.
