Dog, also known as the Duck Hunt Dog, is a character who appears in Abobo's Big Adventure.
Origin[]
The Dog originally appeared in the NES game Duck Hunt. He would grab the ducks when you shoot them down. If you miss shooting any ducks, the Dog will infamously laugh at you.
In The Game[]
The Dog appears as one of the possible NES characters that can appear in the doorway of the game's Intro. Aside from him, the other possible characters seen in this doorway are Fireball, Eggplant Wizard, Mr. Egg, Birdo or Cut Man respectively. Unlike the other characters, the Dog gets angry and flips the bird on each finger when he wasn't chosen while the screen continues playing instead of being sad and saying "aww".
The Dog appears again in a cutscene in Pro Wrabobo where he comes out of a big hole and laughs, but Tom Guycot, standing right next to the hole, gets angry and zaps the Dog's head, prompting him to go back into the hole after that.
