Big Turret is an obstacle who appears in Contrabobo. They hail from Contra.
Origin[]
Big Turrets are bigger versions of regular Turrets in the NES game Contra. Their original name was Gulcan.
In The Game[]
Big Turrets appear in the Jungle and Waterfall sections of Contrabobo. They behave the same as regular Turrets by tracking Abobo, firing projectiles at him, and rotating (though they only rotate up). It takes over fifteen hits for Abobo to defeat them, which will explode upon defeat. Although its health is reduced when using either the Machine (fourteen hits), Spread (ten/several hits), and Flamethrower (fifteen hits) Guns respectively. If they are hit by a Lemming (or more of them), from the Lemming Gun, their health bar will be reduced from its explosion, but can get hit again by another Lemming and die immediately from its explosions (though more Lemmings will defeat them immediately). They have the same explosions as the regular Turrets.
