Bernard the Vulture is a character who appears in Abobo's Big Adventure.
Origin[]
Bernard is the Sea Hag’s pet Vulture from the Popeye cartoons. She appears as an enemy in the Popeye arcade game, which was ported over to the NES.
In The Game[]
Bernard is first seen carrying Olive Oyl in the game's Intro while flying in the air next to the Statue of Liberty.
She is also one of the various NES characters that is vomited out of Kirby's mouth after he is defeated in Contrabobo.
